‘Tim Tebow without Jesus’: Cowboys get big win, but some still question Dak Prescott

The Dallas Cowboys got a huge win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday, 26-24.

Ezekiel Elliott produced a monster game that included a clutch catch on the eventual game-winning drive. And quarterback Dak Prescott also played a major role in the victory.

The defense also managed to do its part, as rookie Leighton Vander Esch filled in at linebacker for the injured Sean Lee.

Last Friday during a radio interview on 105.3 The Fan, owner Jerry Jones defended head coach Jason Garrett. He also compared Prescott and the Cowboys’ offense to the quarterback Jared Goff and the Rams point-scoring machine.

After the win, many fans praised the coach and the quarterback.

But some supporters of the team were not ready to give Garrett and Prescott a stamp of approval.

And despite the win, fans across the league also aren’t entirely sold on Prescott, either.
