‘Richard already has a playbook written up for D4K’: Cowboys fans want Garrett gone
The Dallas Cowboys’ inconsistent season continued on Sunday night with a 19-16 loss in overtime to the Houston Texans.
Jerry Jones’ team was coming off a big late-game win over the Detroit Lions in Week 4, and there was hope, facing a struggling Texans squad, that this group would be over .500 heading back to Dallas from Houston.
But head coach Jason Garrett and his staff once again reverted to a stagnant game plan.
As a result, Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott and the offense weren’t able to get things going, while Texans head coach Bill O’Brien, quarterback Deshaun Watson and wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins recaptured some of the unit’s magic from last season.
Despite a late finish on Sunday night, Cowboys fans voiced their displeasure about Jones, Garrett, and the pass-catchers on Twitter.
