Dallas Cowboys defensive end Randy Gregory practiced on Friday and is gearing up to play against the New York Giants barring a setback.

Gregory missed practice Wednesday and Thursday in concussion protocol after being injured in last Sunday’s season opener against Carolina Panthers.

Gregory was cleared for practice Friday and if doesn’t have any negative reaction he will play on Sunday. The Cowboys are thin on the defensive line with Datone Jones still out with a sprained knee.

There is no thought of limiting Gregory’s exposure after missing two days of practice because last week was the first time he has played in a regular season game since the 2016 season finale. He is cleared and he will play, barring a medical setback.
