Will the Cowboys make the playoffs?

There seems to be plenty of optimism and pessimism in Dallas and across the state of Texas about the America’s Team.

The latest odds from VegasInsider.com reveal that 11 other teams in the NFL have better odds than the Cowboys to win the Super Bowl this season.

The Eagles, Rams and Vikings are all tied for the second best Super Bowl odds in the NFL at 10-to-1. The Packers have the fourth-best title odds in the NFC and the NFL at 14-to-1. Meanwhile the the Saints and the Falcons are the next two teams on the list at 16-to-1 and 20-to-1, respectively.

Dallas currently has 33-to-1 odds to bring home a championship this season. The site believes that 6 teams in the NFC have a better chance to win it all.

By that math, the odds makers do not believe the Cowboys will make the playoffs.

The team will open the regular season this Sunday against the Panthers in Charlotte.
