Running back Ezekiel Elliott and quarterback Dak Prescott have been going back and forth on Twitter and Instagram the past two weeks trashing each other’s shoe game. Elliott represents Nike and Prescott is sponsored by addidas.

The two rookies, however, have not brought noted Dallas Cowboys sneaker head Dez Bryant into the mix. Bryant represents the Michael Jordan brand of the Nike franchise.

“Nobody has better shoe game than me, beside Jordan himself,” Bryant boasted on Thursday. “(My teammates) are too busy worrying about the next new thing I’m going to have on my feet. I give them something fresh. I’m not wearing a shoe after it releases.

“When it releases I’m done with it. I get my shoes six months to a year early. I’m already in January 2017 right now.”

Bryant says he owns between 3,000 and 3,500 pair of tennis shoes, all Jordans. Well, he started at 2,000 then rounded up as he began adding them up.

“I have over 2,000,” Bryant said. “No, I will say between 3,000 and 3,500. I’m thinking about my closest. And I have this locker room in my hallway filled up. I have two rooms filled up with shoes. My garage is filled up with shoes. My other garage is filled. It’s between 3,000 and 3,500. I’m going to have to tweet y’all a picture.”

Bryant says he gets 50 pairs of shoes a month from Nike. He doesn’t wear all the shoes and plans to give them away to charity at some point.
