Cowboys tackle Tyron Smith has bulging disc, Green in walking boot
Dallas Cowboys left tackle Tyron Smith said he will try to practice Wednesday after missing the past two games with a bulging disc in his back.
Smith said his back has improved and is hopeful that he can get back in the field for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals at AT&T Stadium.
The situation is even more acute because Chaz Green, who replaced Smith the past two games against the Chicago Bears and San Francisco 49ers, is also hurt. Green was seen at the team’s headquarters with a walking boot after suffering a strained right foot in the 49ers game.
He finished the game, but was visibly limping afterward and is now in a walking boot. His status for Sunday's game against the Bengals is unknown.
