NFC EAST Week 2 Power Poll
1. New York Giants (1-0): It was just one week and it was against the Cowboys, who have questions of their own. But the arrow is pointing up for the new-look Giants. The off-season spending spree on defense is already paying major dividends. The return of Victor Cruz and the addition of Sterling Shepard to go along with Odell Beckham has given Eli Manning an explosive war chest like non other.
2. Philadelphia Eagles (1-0): The Eagles got a win in their season opener. But it was against the lowly Cleveland Browns, who might be the worst team in NFL. Much is still unknown about the Eagles with rookie quarterback Carson Wentz at the helm. But with a Week 2 date with the struggling Chicago Bears, a rising Philadelphia team could start 2-0.

3. Washington Redskins (0-1): After one week, it appears the NFC East will have a new champion for the 12th consecutive season. The Redskins certainly don't look like a shoo-in to repeat their surprising title of a year ago. Quarterback Kirk Cousins was awful in a 38-16 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. But the defense might have been worse, It couldn't stop the run or the pass.
4. Dallas Cowboys (0-1): The Cowboys came within a whisker of pulling off the win against the New York Giants in the season opener. But they specialize in losing close games without quarterback Tony Romo during last year's 4-12 campaign. A road game at the Redskins awaits rookie quarterback Dak Prescott. If this year is different, then get a win in D.C.
