NFL Combine invites six from TCU, several former area prep stars

Quarterback Trevone Boykin be among six players from TCU at the NFL Scouting Combine Feb. 23-29 in Indianapolis.

Joining Boykin will be wide receiver Josh Doctson, safety Derrick Kindred, wide receiver Kolby Listenbee, place-kicker Jaden Oberkrom and offensive tackle Halapoulivaati Vaitai.

Doctson, a graduate of Mansfield Legacy and a 2015 consensus first-team All-American, holds most of TCU’s single season and career receiving marks. He was a Biletnikoff Award finalist.

Listenbee, a two-time track and field All-American from Arlington Bowie who has 10.03 time in the 100 meters, averaged 19.4 yards per reception in his career.

Other notable participants include Alabama All-American and Fort Worth Arlington Heights graduate A’Shawn Robinson, Texas defensive lineman Hassan Ridgeway of Mansfield High, and former Oklahoma cornerback Zack Sanchez, a Keller Central graduate, and Oklahoma offensive lineman Nila Kasitati, a Euless Trinity graduate.
