Early Super Bowl LI odds have Dallas Cowboys at 16 to 1
Super Bowl 50 is over and Denver wears the crown.
As in most sports, the day after the championship game means every team is undefeated again and pointing toward next season’s top prize.
Bovada released its odds for Super Bowl LI, which will be played in Houston in 2017.
Denver is not expected to repeat. The early favorites are Carolina, who was beaten 24-10 Sunday by the Broncos, New England and Seattle. All three carry 9 to 1 odds. Carolina quarterback Cam Newton is the reigning NFL most valuable player.
Despite finishing 4-12, the Dallas Cowboys carry 16 to 1 odds to win next season’s championship. That’s the same odds as the Broncos.
Who has the least chance of winning the Super Bowl?
Try Cleveland at 150 to 1.
With or without troubled quarterback Johnny Manziel, the Browns have a lot of work to do next season.
