Southwest Airlines deflects recent criticism by taking a jab at the Dallas Mavericks

Southwest Airlines has faced a barrage of criticism for recently changing its policies, including no longer allowing free luggage as it had done for decades.

While defending itself from criticism, the airline referenced Luka Doncic’s trade from the Dallas Mavericks to the Los Angeles Lakers, saying at least we didn’t trade Luka.

The company said it would continue to provide the service customers had come to know and love, explaining that A-List Preferred Members would still have access to free checked bags.

Comments on the post were not happy about the policy change or the Doncic reminder with one person telling the social team to read the room.
