NBA All-Star Game MVP award renamed for Kobe Bryant

The tributes to Kobe Bryant continued Saturday at the NBA’s All-Star Weekend festivities in Chicago.

The NBA All-Star Game MVP trophy will be named the Kobe Bryant Award beginning Sunday, NBA commissioner Rob Manfred announced.

Bryant was killed in a helicopter crash along with his daughter and seven others last month.
