Texas Rangers switch streaming partners. Here’s how fans can watch
The Texas Rangers announced Wednesday that its broadcasts are switching from Victory+ to BUZZR.
The move is effective immediately. Neil Leibman, chairman of the Rangers Sports Media and Entertainment Company, explained why the team made the move in a statement.
“When Rangers Sports Network was launched in January 2025, we committed to providing our fans with the highest-quality options to watch our games,” said Leibman. “It is unfortunate that this switch in direct-to-consumer distributors was necessary, but the decision was made in the best interest of both the Rangers and our fans. RSN is committed to continued delivery of the highest-quality game broadcast possible, and we feel BZZR is well-positioned to manage a seamless transition.”
The Rangers Sports Network will still handle local television broadcasts. Fans who have subscriptions for the Rangers on Victory+ will have those transferred to BZZR and will receive emails beginning Wednesday with instructions on how to change to the new streamer.
The Rangers will begin streaming with BZZR starting with their first game after the All-Star break at 6:15 p.m. Friday at the Atlanta Braves.
