The Texas Rangers selected left-handed pitcher Gio Rojas out of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida with the 16th overall pick. With an ability to touch the upper 90s at a young age, Rojas established himself as one of the top left-handed arms in the 2026 draft and the top prep pitcher in the draft. He is a four time state champion and boasted a 0.5 ERA in his senior season with 31 hits in 72 innings.

(42) Chase Brunson, TCU, Washington Nationals

(66) Sawyer Strosnider, TCU, Milwaukee Brewers

Strosnider, a Brock High School product and TCU outfielder, was selected No. 66 overall by the Milwaukee Brewers. At Brock High School, he earned All-State honors, leading the Eagles to the Class 3A Division I state tournament.

At TCU, he broke onto the scene with a stellar year, earning Big 12 Freshman of the Year honors while boasting a .350 average. In his sophomore year, he couldn’t maintain the production, yet his power, speed and defense make his a prospect with high upside.
