Texas Rangers release schedule for 2026 with opening road test
The Texas Rangers’ 2026 schedule was released Tuesday, and the team’s road mettle will be tested early.
The Rangers will begin the season at the Philadelphia Phillies on March 26, and 16 of the Rangers’ first 22 games will be on the road, an early challenge for a team that has struggled on the road in the past few seasons.
Those 22 games will also include one of two season-long 10-game road trips during the season for the club.
The Rangers’ home opener is April 3 against the Cincinnati Reds.
The Rangers have three season-long nine-game homestands, with one in April, July and September.
The Rangers will close the 2026 season with a series at the Minnesota Twins beginning on Sept. 25.
Game times for 2026 will be announced at a later date.
