Two Texas Rangers among top 100 prospects in baseball, according to MLB Pipeline

Texas Rangers Kumar Rocker and Sebastian Walcott both made MLB Pipeline’s list of the top 100 prospects in baseball.

Where did the pair rank, and when are they expected to make the big leagues?

Rocker ranked at No. 39 on the list and was the sixth-highest right-handed pitching prospect.

The Vanderbilt product made his MLB debut during the 2024 season and started this season in the majors and went 1-3 with am 8.10 ERA

Walcott was the top-ranked Rangers prospect on the list, coming in at No. 12, and was the fourth-ranked shortstop.

The Rangers signed the 19-year-old as an international free agent. Walcott was the No. 8-ranked international prospect, out of the Bahamas, and received a $3.2 million bonus at signing.

This season, playing for the Frisco RoughRiders, Walcott is batting .252 with two home runs and 12 RBIs and is projected to arrive in the majors by 2026.
