Texas Rangers

Why are Texas Rangers caps being sold on the resale market?

A cap was removed from the Texas Rangers and MLB online store for its resemblance to a vulgar Spanish word that refers to a woman’s breast.

However, a seller, named Else Clothing, appears to be selling the hat on eBay for $36 and has already sold 183, according to its website.

The hat was a part of New Era’s Overlap 5950 collection that combined every MLB team’s hat and jersey logos.

The Rangers were not the only team to have a hat that could be taken inappropriately with the Houston Astros and Los Angeles Angels hats being criticized for similar reasons.
