Texas Rangers to visit White House to celebrate 2023 World Series title

The Texas Rangers are scheduled to meet President Joe Biden at the White House on Thursday to celebrate the team’s 2023 World Series victory.

General manager Chris Young, manager Bruce Bochy, players, coaches and field staff who helped the Rangers win the franchise’s first-ever title and will make the White House visit.

The Rangers beat the Arizona Diamondbacks in five games to win the Fall Classic with shortstop Corey Seager winning his second World Series MVP.

This season the Rangers are 54-59 and are five games out of first place in the American League West.

The team is expected to meet the president at approximately 3 p.m. before heading to New York for a three-game series against the Yankees.
