MLB announces 2024 All-Star Futures Game rosters

The coaches and players have been announced for the All-Star Futures game which is a part of the 2024 MLB All-Star week festivities.

Adrián Beltré and Michael Young will manage the teams alongside a bevy of former talented Texas Rangers including Prince Fielder, Ian Kinsler and Elvis Andrus among others.

The All-Star Futures game showcases the next generation of MLB greats from the minor leagues and this year’s edition features 10 of the top 18 prospects in baseball according to the MLB.

2023 second overall pick and Bobby Bragan Collegiate Slugger Award winner Dylan Crews was selected for the Futures game and is the fourth-ranked prospect in baseball. The top prospect in the Texas Rangers program, Sebastian Walcott, was selected for the Futures game and the brand new MLB Futures Skills Showcase to take place after the game’s conclusion.

The skills showcase is a hitting completion taking place in three rounds.

Walcott will be joined by Pittsburgh’s Termarr Johnson, Cincinnati’s Cam Collier, Washington’s Brady House, Chicago’s Moises Ballesteros, Minnesota’s Brooks Lee, Boston’s Roman Anthony and Tampa Bay’s Tre’ Morgan in the skills showcase.

The Futures game will be played at 3 p.m. on Saturday July, 13 at Globe Life Field, and will be broadcast on the MLB Network.
