What final moves did the Rangers make to get to their 26-man Opening Day roster?
The Texas Rangers made a series of moves to get to their 26-player Opening Day roster. All Major League teams were required to have their rosters set by Thursday at 11 a.m.
They sent a few players to the minors, added a few to their injured lists and released a couple of others.
The Rangers open the season on Thursday against the Chicago Cubs at 6:35 p.m. at Globe Life Field and in advance of that game, the Rangers released their Opening Day roster.
Wyat Langford is the biggest new name on the roster as the rookie has taken the MLB by storm.
The season officially started on March 21., when the Los Angeles Dodgers played the San Diego Padres at the Gocheok Sky Dome in South Korea.

- INF Matt Duffy re-signed to a minor league contract and assigned to Round Rock (AAA).
