Texas Rangers support pandemic social distancing with special T-shirt sale for charity

We still can’t watch a game in the Texas Rangers new Globe Life Field but we can don some new team threads.

The Rangers are selling “Good Stretch” T-shirts to support social distancing during the coronavirus pandemic. The dark blue shirts include an image of a first baseman stretching out to make a catch. His stretch is labeled 6 ft.

The CDC and local health officials have urged social distancing to help slow the spread of COVID-19, including social distancing of 6 feet and wearing face coverings in public.

The shirts are $25 and include, small, medium, large and extra large. All net proceeds benefit the Texas Rangers Foundation Programs and the club’s support of pandemic relief efforts. The shirts are available on the team’s website.

The shirts will start shipping the week of July 20.
