A fire broke out at Globe Life Field, and the Texas Rangers jokes wrote themselves
A fire erupted at the construction site of Globe Life Field on Saturday, and social media did not miss the opportunity to make jokes at the Texas Rangers’ expense.
The future $1.2 billion home of the Rangers is supposed to open in late March, in time for the 2020 season opener.
No one was hurt in the blaze, which was contained not long after it began. It is not clear whether the fire will delay the opening of the ballpark.
