Watch: Second straight day with a hole-in-one at Charles Schwab Challenge
One day after Brandt Snedeker’s hole-in-one on the 16th hole, A.J. Ewart followed it up with one of his own in the second round of the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial.
While Snedeker’s shot flew straight into the hole, a “slam dunk,” Ewart’s shot at No. 16 on Friday hit the green and rolled in.
Ewart, a rookie on the PGA Tour, picked up a birdie on the 18th hole to push his score to 7-under 63 for the second round. Ewart shot even-par 70 on Thursday and sits in a tie for 11th at 7-under after the first two rounds.
Ewart is set to tee off tomorrow at 11:32 a.m. on Saturday in a group with Brice Garnett and Michael Brennan.
