WATCH: Hole-in-one in Colonial first round is ‘slam dunk’ directly in the cup

Holes-in-one happen on the PGA Tour, but rarely like the one Brandt Snedeker posted Thursday in the first round of the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth.

Snedeker’s tee shot on the par-3, 181-yard 16th hole appeared to hit the flag stick and go directly into the cup — no bouncing, no rolling.

“How about this? Slam dunk,” one announcer said.

The hole-in-one allowed Snedeker to finish at even-par 70, tied for 83rd, six shots behind the leaders.

The tournament continues with the second round Friday, and the final round is Sunday.
