Dallas-Fort Worth area high school football winners in Week 5 from Colleyville Heritage, North Side, North Crowley
Colleyville Heritage’s AJ Smith-Shawver, FW North Side’s Adrian Martinez and the North Crowley Panthers were voted Week 5 players of the week and team of the week.
Smith-Shawver, offensive POTW, had a huge season opener with 322 yards passing and 5 TDs against Grapevine.
Martinez, defensive POTW, had 8 tackles, 1 forced fumble and 1 INT as the Steers came back to beat Joshua.
North Crowley was team of the week after shutting out Crowley 13-0.
