Fort Worth All Saints 2021 offensive lineman James Brockermeyer, the son of former Texas All-American Blake Brockermeyer, announced his Top 4 college offers via Twitter on Monday.
Texas, Alabama, Auburn and national champion LSU made the cut.
Brockermeyer holds 17 offers. Others include Arizona State, Georgia Tech, Iowa, Miami, Michigan, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, USC, Virginia, Washington State and SMU.
The 4-star prospect is ranked as the No. 1 center in the country for the 2021 class, according to 247Sports. He’s the 32nd ranked player in Texas and 192nd nationally.
247Sports has Texas and Alabama at 50 percent at landing Brockermeyer.
Brockermeyer, who was voted TAPPS first-team all-state and named to the Star-Telegram all-area team, is ranked third at his position and 34th in the state by Rivals, and 97th among the ESPN 300.
His twin brother, Tommy, is the top-ranked 2021 player in the country. He’s a 5-star offensive tackle at All Saints. Their father, Blake, was an All-American tackle at UT and Fort Worth Arlington Heights.
Tommy came out with his Top 5 in December: UT, LSU, Bama, Auburn and Clemson.
Older brother, Luke, is a current football player for the Longhorns.
