Dominique Johnson flips the switch as Crowley 3-star prospect signs with Arkansas
Crowley 3-star RB Dominique Johnson flipped his commitment to Arkansas and signed his national letter of intent with the Razorbacks on Wednesday during the early signing period.
Johnson had been committed to Missouri since June.
The Crowley back was voted District MVP this season after rushing for 1,300 yards and 25 touchdowns. He averaged 10 yards per carry as the Eagles went 9-2 and reached the bi-district round of the playoffs.
Johnson, who was voted Class 5A all-state, rushed 225 times for 1,109 yards and 15 TDs last season as a junior.
Johnson is ranked as the No. 96 RB in the nation and No. 226 overall prospect in the state, per 247Sports.
Arkansas has 10 recruits among the 2020 class, seven that have signed, including 4-star safety Myles Slusher (Broken Arrow, OK). Johnson is the only player from Texas.
