Arlington Lamar WR, who has 34 TD catches the past 2 years, signs NLI with Oklahoma
Arlington Lamar 3-star WR Trevon West signed his national letter of intent with the University of Oklahoma on Wednesday during the early signing period.
West has been committed to OU since February. He also had offers from Hawaii, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, San Diego State, Texas Tech and Tulsa.
West had a career year with the Vikings this season, setting career-highs with 54 catches for 1,080 yards and 18 touchdowns.
The Vikings went 10-2 with an appearance in the 6A Division I area round.
West had 12 receptions for 243 yards and 3 TDs during an upset win over Euless Trinity in bi-district.
In three years, West posted 136 catches for 2,841 yards and 39 TDs.
Lamar has gone 21-4 in the last two seasons.
