QB Caelan Day leads Arlington to rout

Arlington kept pace for a playoff spot, blowing out the Panthers behind Caelan Day's five touchdown passes and four rushing TDs at Maverick Stadium. Arlington only led by seven at halftime, but scored at will in the second half behind Day's 366 yards passing and receivers Rashad Anderson (224 yards receiving) and D'Montae Davis (102). Ronterrius Williams also rushed for 109 yards and two scores.

Key players: Paschal's Edwin Allen had 145 yards rushing, and backup quarterback Jaylon Robinson ran for 66 yards.

Key stat: Day couldn't miss with his top three receivers, Anderson, Davis and Aaron Trahan. He had only two incompletions and averaged 22 yards per completion. Williams had nearly all of his rushing yards in the second half.
