Azle dominates Chisholm Trail in first win

Azle picked up its first win of the season by downing Saginaw Chisholm Trail 38-13 Friday in a District 6-5A game at Hornet Stadium.

Key players: Azle’s Davion Jones scored touchdowns in the first and third quarters. A pass from Rickey Aregullin to Blaze Miller secured another Azle TD, while Jordan McNeely also scored a TD. Azle freshman QB Ken Seals passed for 58 yards.

Key stats: A pass from Jake Norwood to Jayquan Jamerson scored a TD for Chisholm Trail. Ke-Shawn Gbanquoi scored on a 29-yard TD run with 3 seconds left in the game for Chisholm Trail.
