Big second half sends Colleyville Heritage by Fort Worth Dunbar

Colleyville Heritage held a two-point at halftime, but separated themselves from the Wildcats in the second half for a 31-15 defeat of Dunbar at Clark Stadium.

Key players: Panthers RB Mario Ortiz rushed 32 times for 154 yards and a TD. Backup QB Landry French relieved injured Panthers starter Cam Roane early in the contest and threw for 173 yards and two TDs. Dunbar QB Nakkia Cox threw for 107 yards and a TD and ran for 81 yards.

Key stat: A 98-yard kickoff return by Leon'te Cooper on the first play of the game was the highlight of the night for the Wildcats.

Records: Colleyville Heritage 2-2, 1-0 8-5A, Dunbar 0-4, 0-1
