Aledo opens district play with rout of Saginaw Chisholm Trail

Senior quarterback Dillon Davis threw three touchdown passes, and teammate Donnie Evans scored four TDs -- including an 80-yard kickoff return to start the second half -- as Aledo rolled over Saginaw Chisholm Trail 69-0 Friday in a Distrcit 6-5A game at Rangers Stadium.

Key Players: Davis connected on passes of 19 and 47-yards respectively to Logan Bridges, and another to Preston Jefferis from 44-yards. Evans had touchdown runs of 3, 1, and 10 yards, all in the second quarter. Chisholm Trail’s Jayquan Jamerson caught five passes for 83 yards.

Key Stat: The Aledo defense limited Chisholm Trail to 138 yards, and the Rangers crossed midfield just twice.

Records: Aledo 4-0, 1-0 District 6-5A; Saginaw Chisholm Trail 2-2, 0-1.
