Watch Austin Bowie team manager with Down syndrome drain 3-pointer on senior night

Andrew Lahodynskyj

With the final regular season game Tuesday, Austin Bowie’s win on senior night Friday was a little more special for the team manager.

Shea O’Reilly, who is a senior with Down syndrome, entered the game late in the third quarter, dribbled to the left wing and drained a 3-point basket, drawing a loud ovation. O’Reilly was ecstatic and gave a teammate a high-five.

He would go on to make another 3-pointer in the fourth quarter in Bowie’s win over Austin Lake Travis.
