Standout North Crowley defensive back decommits from Georgia
North Crowley four-star class of 2027 defensive back Jerry Outhouse Jr. confirmed his decomittment from Georgia Wednesday.
Outhouse told Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett, who broke the news, and Outhouse confirmed the report on his X account.
Outhouse, one of the top defensive backs in Dallas-Fort Worth, announced his commitment to Georgia on March 6. He has over 40 offers, and finalists for his commitment originally included Arizona State, Florida, Texas Tech and UCLA.
“God got me,” Outhouse wrote.
In the upcoming 2026 season, Outhouse will play alongside safety Elijajuan Houston, the 2025 District 3-6A MVP and the 2025 Star-Telegram Defensive Player of the Year, and John Meredith III, the highest rated class of 2027 recruit in Texas and the top defensive back recruit nationwide.
Outhouse, with a 6-foot-1, 180-pound frame, runs a 4.43 40-yard dash. He originally played at White Settlement Brewer, where he tallied six interceptions as a sophomore.
Outhouse is ESPN’s No. 8 cornerback nationwide.
