North Crowley’s Jerry Outhouse Jr., one of the top defensive backs in the Fort Worth-area, announced his commitment to Georgia football on Friday at North Crowley High School.

Outhouse, a four-star recruit, commanded more than 40 offers. Finalists for his commitment included Arizona State, Florida, Texas Tech and UCLA, but he ended up going with the Bulldogs.

Outhouse is one of three highly respected defensive backs at North Crowley.

In 2026, he’ll play alongside John Meredith III, the highest rated class of 2027 recruit in Texas and the top defensive back recruit nationwide. The duo will also share the field with safety Elijajuan Houston, the 2025 District 3-6A MVP and the 2025 Star-Telegram Defensive Player of the Year.

Outhouse, who transferred from White Settlement Brewer after a breakout sophomore season with six interceptions, was recently invited to the 2027 Under Armour All-America Game.

He has a 6-foot-1, 180-pound frame and runs a 4.41 40-yard dash.
