First Team All-Area
First Team Pitchers
Evan O’Connor, Junior, Brock
O’Connor posted a 14-1 record with a 0.55 ERA, striking out a school-record 142 batters over 76.2 innings while allowing just 6 earned runs. He was named District 6-4A Pitcher of the Year and earned THSCBA First Team All-State honors. At the plate, O’Connor hit .420 with 42 hits, 17 extra-base hits, 29 RBIs, 19 runs and 19 walks.
Will McIntire, Sophomore, Boyd
McIntire was dominant on both sides of the ball, earning District 10-3A MVP and THSCBA First Team All-State honors and a spot on the Class 3A Division II All-State Tournament Team. He went 10-0 on the mound with a 0.00 ERA, striking out 94 and allowing 10 hits and three unearned runs over 46 innings. At the plate, he hit .411 with 53 hits, 13 extra-base hits, 31 RBIs, 40 runs and 16 stolen bases without being caught.
Jobe Reed, Junior, Colleyville Heritage
Reed was a key arm for Heritage, posting a 1.41 ERA with 119 strikeouts over 84 innings of work. The standout pitcher consistently overpowered hitters, earning District 6-5A Pitcher of the Year and THSCBA Second Team All-State honors and helping the Panthers reach the regional finals. His fastball reaches 88 mph, and he mixes in a slider and changeup.
First Team Infield
Tanner Madara, Sophomore, Fort Worth Benbrook
Madara was a force at the plate, hitting .468 with 36 hits, 10 doubles, six triples, two home runs, 30 RBIs and 30 stolen bases. He posted a .580 on-base percentage and a .753 slugging percentage, drawing 18 walks and scoring 27 runs for a 25-7 Benbrook squad. Madara received First Team THSCBA All-State honors in Class 4A.
Jesse Orozco, Senior, Brewer
Orozco earned THSCBA Class 5A First Team All-State honors at second base, hitting .451 with 41 hits, including seven doubles, three triples, and two home runs. He added 22 RBIs, 26 runs, 18 stolen bases, and posted a .527 on-base percentage with a .659 slugging percentage.
Cole Koeninger, Junior, Keller
Koeninger, the District 4-6A MVP and a Tennessee pledge, led Keller to a 32-10 season with standout play on the mound and at the plate. He hit .419 with eight home runs, 39 RBIs, 39 runs and 23 walks. As a pitcher, he posted a 0.93 ERA with 96 strikeouts.
Lale Esquivel, Junior, Grapevine
Esquivel earned District 6-5A Offensive MVP and THSCBA Second Team All-State honors after hitting .418 with 51 hits, 15 doubles, two triples, 39 RBIs, 21 runs, six stolen bases and 13 walks for a 36-3 team. He posted a .465 on-base percentage and a .598 slugging percentage. He tallied nine RBIs in Grapevine’s championship postseason run.
First Team Catcher
Gianni Corral, Junior, Grapevine
Corral hit .376 with 41 hits, eight doubles, three triples, two home runs and 34 RBIs, helping lead the state championship-winning Mustangs while earning District 6-5A Defensive Player of the Year honors. Corral, a THSCBA Second Team All-State selection in Class 5A, posted a .432 on-base percentage and a .560 slugging percentage. In the postseason, he batted .386 with 17 hits and 11 RBIs.
First Team Outfield / Utility
Tanner Carson, Senior, Southlake Carroll
Carson earned THSCBA Second Team All-State honors at third base after hitting .386 with 39 hits, 10 doubles, three triples, three home runs, 21 RBIs and 23 runs for a 29-7-1 Dragon team. On the mound, the McLennan JC commit recorded a 1.65 ERA with five saves and 30 strikeouts over 12.2 innings, including two postseason saves.
Johnny Meza, Senior, Mansfield Timberview
Meza, a THSCBA All-Star in Class 5A, hit .465 with 40 hits, eight doubles, three home runs, 26 RBIs and 23 runs, posting a .612 on-base percentage and .663 slugging percentage. The El Paso Community College signee walked 31 times with just four strikeouts and was named the District 8-5A MVP.
Jesse Rusinek, Senior, Brock
Rusinek posted a stellar .526 batting average with 60 hits, nine doubles, nine triples, four home runs, 37 RBIs, 42 runs and 28 stolen bases, while striking out just twice. On the mound, he went 11-1 with a 1.235 ERA and 84 strikeouts, allowing only nine earned runs. A Texas Tech signee, Rusinek was named District 6-4A Co-MVP and selected as a 4A THSCBA All-Star.
Sebastian Martinez, Junior, Fort Worth Benbrook
Martinez was named District 8-4A Offensive Player of the Year and earned THSCBA Class 4A Second Team All-State honors at second base. He hit .421 with 42 RBIs, 30 runs, five doubles, three triples, four home runs and 15 stolen bases. A versatile infielder and pitcher, Martinez was a key contributor on both sides of the ball.

Second Team Pitchers
Owen Skinner, Senior, Mansfield Legacy
Skinner, a THSCBA Third Team All-State selection in Class 6A and the District 3-6A Co-Pitcher of the Year, allowed 48 hits and 11 unearned runs in 75 innings for an 1.32 ERA. He also notched 87 strikeouts.
Holden Herring, Senior, Mineral Wells
Herring, a THSCBA First Team All-State Pitcher in Class 4A and a Rawlings Gold Glove recipient, led the Rams to their best season since 1958. Herring, a Texas Tech pledge, allowed 19 earned runs in 74 2/3 innings for a 0.93 ERA. He also had 144 strikeouts.
Ethan Baiotto, Senior, Southlake Carroll
Baiotto, a Tennessee pledge, was a key force in another stellar season for the Dragons. He recorded a strong 1.92 ERA, and with a fastball that reaches 96 miles per hour, he struck out 77 batters en route to District 4-6A Pitcher of the Year honors.
Jax Stockton, Senior, Fort Worth Benbrook
Stockton was a consistent pitcher for the Bobcats, recording a 1.02 ERA, 50 strikeouts and seven earned runs. He earned consecutive District 8-4A Pitcher of the Year honors and is a North Central Texas College commit.
Second Team Infield
Ryan Alaniz, Junior, Euless Trinity
Euless Trinity junior Ryan Alaniz was named District 4-6A Offensive Player of the Year after hitting .450 with seven doubles, two triples, eight home runs, 23 RBIs and 31 runs. He also drew 16 walks and was a key bat in the middle of the Trojans’ lineup.
Gavin Massey, Senior, Joshua
Massey earned THSCBA First Team All-State honors after hitting .388 with 40 hits, 11 doubles, two triples, three home runs, 29 RBIs, 23 runs and 12 stolen bases. He posted a .488 on-base percentage and a .621 slugging percentage.
Max Burris, Junior, Eagle Mountain
In the Knights’ inaugural season, Burris was a standout performer. He hit .415 en route to THSCBA Third Team All-State Honors.
Brett Holmes, Senior, Keller Fossil Ridge
Holmes was named District 5-5A Defensive MVP and earned First Team All-State honors at second base from the THSCBA. He hit .405 with 30 hits, three doubles, three triples, one home run, 28 runs, 21 walks and 35 stolen bases.
Second Team Catcher
Caleb Eager, Senior, Fort Worth Arlington Heights
Eager, a THSCBA Class 5A Second Team All-State selection and a Midland College commit, was an offensive force for the Yellowjackets with a .414 average, 38 hits, 28 RBIs, two home runs and 19 runs. He led Heights to 24 wins and a District 7-5A title.
Second Team Outfield / Utility
Colton Patton, Junior, Boyd
Patton, the District 10-3A Offensive Player of the Year and a THSCBA First Team All-State selection, had a .443 average, 54 hits, 12 doubles, two triples and nine home runs. He had 41 RBIs, 52 runs, 26 walks and 24 stolen bases, leading the Yellowjackets to a 35-7 record and an undefeated district title.
Isaiah Henderson, Senior, Arlington Bowie
Henderson, the Co-District 8-6A MVP, was a force for the Vols on both sides. He held opponents to a .171 average and recorded a 1.34 ERA. As a batter, he thrived with a .431 average.
Denim Harris, Senior, Mansfield Timberview
Harris, a Seminole College pledge, was an offensive machine for the Wolves with a .451 average, 37 hits, 12 doubles, five triples, two home runs and 35 RBIs. He also tallied 17 stolen bases and was an All-District 8-5A outfielder.
Garrin Graves, Senior, Azle
Graves, an Amarillo College Signee, hit .457 with 37 hits, five doubles, three triples, 19 RBIs and three stolen bases, finishing with a .494 on-base percentage. He was named District 5-5A Co-MVP and selected to the THSCBA All-Star Game. As a pitcher, he had a 1.59 ERA in 57 innings of work.
