Player of the Year: Madi Doty, Grandview

Pitcher of the Year: Taylor McKean, Aledo

Newcomer of the Year: Tempe Perry, Aledo

Offensive Player of the Year: Lillie Gaudio, Mansfield Legacy

Coach of the Year: Christina Gwyn, Grapevine

First Team All-Area

First Team Pitchers

Reagan Jordan, Sophomore, Birdville

Jordan, the District 6-5A Most Valuable Player and a TGCA Class 5A All-State selection, had a 1.6 ERA, a 27-5 overall record and 233 strikeouts. As a hitter, she had a .406 average, 11 home runs, and 34 RBIs. She led the Hawks to a 30-6 overall record and a district title.

Natalie Moreaux, Senior, Mansfield Legacy

Moreaux, a Northwestern State pledge, was one of the most versatile players in Dallas-Fort Worth. As a pitcher, she posted a 1.32 ERA, 222 strikeouts and a 21-4 overall record in Class 6A Texas high school softball. As a batter, she had a stellar .518 average with 39 RBIs and 14 home runs.

First Team Infield

Sedona Meiser, Junior, Keller

Meiser, a Texas Tech pledge, earned District 4-6A Most Valuable Player and TGCA All-State honors. She led Keller with a powerful bat, hitting 11 home runs. She posted a .468 average with 52 hits, 13 doubles, 52 RBIs and 40 runs.

Makenna Jackson, Junior, Keller

Jackson was a force for Keller, earning TGCA Super Elite and All-State honors. She posted a .475 batting average with eight home runs, eight triples, 17 doubles, 56 runs and 68 RBIs.

Coryn Burris, Senior, Birdville

Burris proved to be one of the best hitters in Class 5A Texas high school softball with a .548 average. She had 15 home runs, 23 doubles, 72 RBIs and 62 runs and a .615 on base percentage en route to All-State honors. Burris also shined defensively at third base, earning District Defensive Player of the Year honors.

Kyleigh Pawlak, Junior, Aledo

Pawlak put together a strong season in a Class 5A Division II state semifinal run with the Bearcats, hitting .450 with a .477 on base percentage. She had six home runs and 44 RBIs en route to TGCA All-State honors.

First Team Catcher

Kaiya Fabela, Senior, Keller

Fabela, a BYU pledge, thrived within a talented Keller offense. She hit .496 with 56 hits, 16 doubles, 11 home runs and 55 RBIs, earning All-State honors.

First Team Outfield / Utility

Emmy May, Senior, Southlake Carroll

May, the District 4-6A Co-Defensive Player of the Year, hit .455 with a .542 on-base percentage. She had 46 hits, 16 doubles, five home runs and 35 RBIs.



Scarlett Kuhn, Senior, Southlake Carroll

Kuhn led a talented Southlake Carroll team with a .486 average, eight home runs, 53 hits, 12 doubles, 47 RBIs and 41 runs. She was named the District 4-6A Offensive Player of the Year and also earned a spot on the TGCA All-State team.

Madison Haynes, Senior, Burleson Centennial

Haynes, the District 8-5A Most Valuable Player, led the Centennial offense with a .535 average, a .612 on-base percentage, 53 hits, 38 RBIs and 57 runs.

Mia Richards, Senior, Brock

Richards, a Texas Tech signee, led a talented Eagle squad to 29 wins and an undefeated district title, earning TGCA All-State honors. She was named the District 6-4A Most Valuable Player.

Second Team All-Area

Second Team Pitchers

Bella MacMahon, Senior, Grapevine

In the postseason, MacMahon put the Mustangs on her shoulders en route to the Class 5A Division II state semifinals, where she pitched the entirety of the three-game series. MacMahon, a South Dakota State signee, secured a 20-7 overall record with a 1.66 ERA. She notched 170 strikeouts, earning District 6-5A Pitcher of the Year and TGCA All-State honors.

Abby Atkinson, Sophomore, Boyd

Boyd had a 26-3 overall record with a 0.643 ERA in 152 innings of work. She tallied 321 strikeouts and allowed a 0.066 batting average, giving up only 31 hits on the season. Atkinson threw 12 no-hitters in a season that earned her TGCA All-State honors.

Second Team Infield

Gisele Rayngay, Senior, Grapevine

Rayngay was a productive power hitter for Grapevine with 17 home runs, 36 RBIs, 45 runs, 42 hits and a .385 average. She led the Mustang offense to the Class 5A Division II state semifinals, earning TGCA All-State honors.

Marina Tavares, Senior, Aledo

Tavares was an offensive machine for Aledo with a .475 batting average and a .523 on-base percentage. She hit nine home runs and had 40 RBIs en route to District 5-5A Offensive Player of the Year and TGCA Class 5A All-State honors.

Evelynn Swartzlander, Sophomore, Birdville

As an underclassman, Swartzlander thrived with the Hawks and earned TGCA All-State honors, posting a .427 average and a .537 on-base percentage. She collected 20 RBIs and was a consistent threat on the base paths with 20 stolen bases.

Madelyn Hickey, Senior, Burleson Centennial

Hickey had a .543 average with a .566 on-base percentage as a TGCA All-State selection for the Spartans. She had 50 hits, 56 RBIs and 26 runs.

Second Team Catcher

Haley Mennenga, Junior, Birdville

Mennenga solidified herself as one of the best catchers in Dallas-Fort Worth with a .421 average and a .524 on-base percentage. Mennenga, the District 6-5A Catcher of the Year, had 44 RBIs, 10 doubles, a triple and seven home runs.

Second Team Outfield / Utility

Kassandra Moreno, Freshman, Fort Worth Diamond Hill-Jarvis

Moreno stood out as one of the top first-year players in the Fort Worth area with an eye-popping .780 average, according to MaxPreps leaderboards. Moreno had 15 extra-base hits, 30 RBIs, 25 stolen bases, and 40 runs.

Cozette Tyson, Freshman, Fort Worth Brewer

Tyson, in her freshman campaign, has been a versatile player for the Bears and a highly productive bat. She tallied a .513 average with nine home runs, nine doubles, five triples and 33 RBIs.

Maggie Castaneda, Senior, FW North Side

Casteneda, a Daytona State signee, led North Side to a third-place finish in District 7-5A and was named the district’s most valuable player.

Maya Vasquez, Soph., FW Benbrook

Vasquez was a productive player in a well-rounded Benbrook offense. She hit .683, helping power the Bobcats to an undefeated district title.
