Aledo Bearcats’ star running back Raycine Guillory Jr. announces commitment to Utah
One of the best players in Dallas-Fort Worth announced his commitment on Wednesday’s early national signing day.
Aledo running back Raycine Guillory committed to Utah at Aledo High School while broadcasting it on Instagram live. The Bearcats running back, a 247Sports three-star prospect, chose the Utes over Ole Miss.
Guillory has been a force as a senior, tallying 1299 rushing yards and 24 touchdowns on 161 attempts, averaging 8.1 yards per carry. He has also gained 169 receiving yards with two touchdown catches.
The star back tends to thrive in big games; he tallied 165 yards in a district play win over Denton Ryan and a season high 245 yards vs. Richland. Guillory and the Bearcats will rematch Denton Ryan at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 at Crowley ISD Stadium in the Class 5A D1 Region One final.
Guillory, with a 5-foot-10, 180-pound frame, had offers from Baylor, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, SMU, TCU, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Texas, and more. He was committed to the Longhorns, but decomitted in June.
