Oct. 2 rankings: Which Fort Worth-area high school football teams are at the top?

Week six of Texas high school football had a lot of byes.

SO many byes, in fact, that all ranked Fort Worth-area teams in Class 6A did not have a game. Obviously, there was no movement in the Class 6A rankings this week.

Class 5A, however, is a different story.

Arlington Heights picked up a statement ranked win over Fort Worth Wyatt. The big win allowed the Yellowjackets to move up a spot and will have a big impact in the District 4-5A D2 race.
