Who will win? Vote for week 6 Fort Worth-area high school football player of the week

Week six of Fort Worth-area high school football was filled with plenty of byes, but that didn’t stop the athletes who were playing from having some phenomenal performances.

10 schools are represented in this week’s poll: Aledo, Arlington Heights, Lake Worth, Fort Worth Dunbar, Arlington Bowie, Justin Northwest, Fort Worth Brewer, Mansfield Timberview, Colleyville-Heritage and Arlington Martin.

The athlete that receives the most votes will be named the Fort Worth-area week six player of the week.

Anyone can be nominated. If a performance from the upcoming week stands out, you can nominate a player by sending High School Sports Editor Charles Baggarly (cbaggarly@star-telegram.com) an email with the subject line “WEEK SEVEN NOMINATION.”

Here are the nominees. Voting will end Wednesday at 5 p.m. CT.
