Here are 10 Fort Worth-area high school football players to watch in Week 11

Week 11 of the Texas high school football season starts Thursday and expect more great performances from Fort Worth-area football players.

Keep an eye out for these 10 players this week:

Gary Maddox, Sr., RB, Euless Trinity: Maddox rushed for 162 yards in last week’s rout over Weatherford, putting the Trojans into a battle for a playoff spot against LD Bell.

Kade Tompkins, Sr., DT, Midlothian: Tompkins had a monster game against Ellison with six tackles, three sacks and nine QB hurries. He’ll look to wreak more havoc in a big Week 11 match-up with Red Oak.

Kaleb James, Sr., DE, Mansfield: The 4-star Arkansas commit had five solo tackles, eight total, two tackles for loss, two sacks and a fumble recovery against Skyline.

Dejuan Lacy, Sr., RB, North Crowley: Lacy rushed for a career-high 294 yards in the Panthers win over Chisholm Trail as he went over 1,000 yards on the season.

Landon Thigpen, Jr., RB, Godley: Thigpen set career marks last week with 42 carries, 294 yards and four touchdowns against Hillsboro. He enters Week 11 with 1,889 yards and 17 TDs.

Jack Fuller, Sr., DB, Boswell: The Pioneers got a huge win over Crowley last week and put themselves in prime position for second in the district standings. Fuller had seven tackles and two takeaways.

Cameron Lyles, Sr., RB, Kennedale: Lyles headlines the Kennedale rushing attack with nearly 136 yards and three touchdowns against Western Hills. He averages nearly 100 yards per game and has 15 TDs.

Cardea Collier, Soph., QB/DB, Alvarado: In one of the biggest upsets this season, Collier put together his best game of his young career. He accounted for 428 yards total offense and six touchdowns, plus made the game-sealing interception with under a minute left against No. 2 Stephenville.

Tristan Johnson, Jr., DE, Bell: Johnson helped Bell to a 28-13 win over Paschal and still have a shot at a playoff spot. Johnson had 10 tackles, eight solo, three QB hurries and two fumble recoveries.

Murry Moore, Sr., RB, Dunbar: Moore is among the leading backs in the state. Last week in the Wildcats 14-10 win over Lake Worth, he posted his seventh 200-yard game of the season. He’ll face Kennedale this week with over 2,100 yards and 19 TDs on the season.
