DFW area high school football defensive player of the week from Colleyville Heritage

Colleyville Heritage’s Leo Covington was voted DFW football defensive player of the week from Week 7.

Covington got 50% of the votes. Grapevine’s Joshua Logan came in second place with 48%.

Covington made 11 tackles, 1 sack, 4 hurries 3 forced fumbles, 3 fumbles recovered vs Red Oak

Forney’s Josh Stephens came in third place. A total of 8 players were nominated on Tuesday.
