Dallas-Fort Worth high school football offensive player of the week from Timber Creek

Keller Timber Creek quarterback Jacob Porter was voted DFW offensive player of the week in Week 1.

Porter got 37% of the votes. He threw for 415 yards and 5 TDs vs Rockwall-Heath.

Cleburne’s Landry Fields came in second with 23%. He scored 4 TDs vs Houston Heights.

Arlington Heights’ Brian Furch came in third. North Crowley’s Quinton Jackson came in fourth. A total of eight players were nominated on Tuesday.
