Dallas-Fort Worth area high school volleyball player of the week from Aledo
Aledo sophomore hitter Vivian Parker was voted Dallas-Fort Worth area high school volleyball player of the week following her performance against Grapevine.
Parker received 35% of the votes and narrowly edged out Mansfield’s Ava Roberts by 90 votes.
Parker led the Ladycats with 20 kills during their 25-20, 21-25, 21-25, 28-26, 15-12 victory over Grapevine on Friday during the Battle of the Rock tournament in Rockwall.
She added 27 digs in the match, second most.
Keller Central’s Karly Wells came in third place. Chisholm Trail’s Jadyn Gillespie came in fourth place. A total of eight players were nominated on Monday.
