DFW high school boys and girls basketball winners in Week 9 from Fort Worth Christian, Coram Deo, Waxahachie

Fort Worth Christian’s Alex Bossinakis, Coram Deo’s Ashley Faux and the Waxahachie boys are the latest DFW high school basketball players and teams of the week.

Bossinakis was voted boys basketball player of the week with 39% after he scored 30 points vs. All Saints in the FWC tournament.

Grapevine Faith’s Tyler Lundblade came in second with 31% with 41 points vs El Dorado.

Waxahachie was voted boys team of the week after the No. 4 Indians took down the No. 13 DeSoto in the District 7-6A opener.

Faux was voted girls basketball player of the week with 68% after breaking school records with 47 points and 8 3-pointers vs. Collinsville.

Prestonwood’s Jordan Webster came in second after she passed Julius Randle for most points in school history (boys or girls).
