Dallas-Fort Worth softball player of the week April 1-6, 2019

The winner of the latest DFW softball player of the week for games April 1-6, 2019 is Frisco Centennial hitter Lexi Pope!

Pope picked up 4,633 votes after driving in 10 runs in 2 games during the week and going 6 for 6 from the plate. Against Frisco on April 1, the LA Tech signee went 5 for 5 with 2 home runs, 2 singles, a double and 9 RBI.

She beat out Coppell pitcher Nora Rodriguez who threw a 7-inning no-hitter with 11 strikeouts while going 3 for 3 with 2 RBI vs. Lewisville on April 5.

The Colony pitcher and Iowa State signee Karlie Charles came in third with 18 strikeouts in 13 innings during the week.
