TCU, Oklahoma, Texas among Top 8 for this local 4-star football athlete

Jahari Rogers is a rising defensive back, but he really put himself on the map last season after making the move to quarterback for the Arlington Colts.

Rogers, a 4-star cornerback according to 247Sports, accounted for over 3,500 yards and 48 touchdowns for Arlington, which won the District 4-6A title and went 11-1.

Rogers recruiting has heated up ever since with 24 offers on the table. However, the 2020 prospect narrowed his commitment to eight of top programs in the nation: Georgia Tech, Oklahoma, Florida, Texas, LSU, Arkansas, Miami and TCU.

Oklahoma is the favorite to land Rogers at 75 percent, per 247Sports, which ranks him as the No. 19 cornerback in the nation.
