The winner for the latest Dallas-Fort Worth softball player of the week for games March 25-30, 2019 is Venus hitter Alexis Jasso!

Jasso batted 6 for 8 with 2 doubles and 5 RBI in 2 games as Venus defeated Ferris 3-0 and Alvarado 12-8. The Bulldogs improved to 16-2-2 and 5-0 in District 17-4A.

Jasso picked up 41 percent of the votes (2,191).

Frisco Centennial slugger Katie Walsh came in second place with 2,053 votes after the Henderson State signee went 3 for 6 with 2 home runs including the walk off 3 run HR vs. Lebanon Trail on March 26.

Arlington Heights’ pitcher and North Texas commit Jalee McDonald came in third place after she threw a 5-inning complete game with 9 Ks and went 4 for 4 with 2 HR and 5 RBI vs. South Hills on March 26.
