The winner of the latest Dallas-Fort Worth baseball player of the week for games March 25-30, 2019 is Brewer pitcher PJ Sanders!

Sanders received 40 percent of the votes (1,722) after helping the Bears upset No. 15 Grapevine 5-0 in 8 innings on March 26. Sanders threw a complete game 2-hitter and struck out 4 batters.

Brewer scored 5 runs in the top of the 8th. Sanders also went 2 for 4 from the plate.

Duncanville’s Ray Jaramillo came in second place with 1,688 votes after he went 8 for 11 with 2 doubles and 4 RBI in 3 games.

Benbrook pitcher Devin Bennett came in third place with a 5-inning no-hitter and 14 Ks vs. Lake Worth on March 26.
