It’s year No. 7 for the Burleson Centennial football team while Frisco Reedy is making strides in its third. The Spartans are in the regional round for the second time and the Lions are No. 9 in 5A at 12-0.

The two teams meet in the 5A Division II regional round, 7 p.m. Friday at Southlake’s Dragon Stadium.

How they got here: Centennial d. Kimball 70-12, d. Corsicana 28-26; Reedy d. Ennis 47-21, d. Midlothian 52-29

Spartans: Behind the triple option, they rallied to beat Corsicana and set a program record with their 11th win.
