Aledo vs. Lovejoy will be the TXA 21 High School Football Game of the Week
The TXA 21 High School football game of the week will head to Pennington Field for a Class 5A Division II area round matchup between Lucas Lovejoy (8-2) and Aledo (10-0).
The game will air live 1 p.m. Friday.
Aledo, which reached the state final last season, won its playoff opener for the 23rd straight year.
Lovejoy, which opened in 2007, has been to the football playoffs nine times.
